Still, the city needs a spiritual awakening. Although there’s spiritual momentum in Fresno and religious diversity, the percentage of Christians is low. Spirit-filled believers are a minority.
Fresno, though a desirable place to live, Fresno’s crime rate is rising with a 180% increase in murders year over year, according to Central Valley police. The population is young, with an average age of 32 years old among a population of a little over half a million.
