What to Expect

What to Expect

We have Sunday services, special events, community-wide prayer initiatives, Strike Teams, Prophecy Rooms, Healing Rooms and much more going on every month—and we’re birthing new ministries. Here’s what you can expect:

What makes Awakening House of Prayer unique?

AHOP is not just a church. It’s a revival hub with many spokes on the wheel. We have Prophecy Rooms, Healing Rooms, Deliverance Rooms and more. We have corporate prayer meetings every Friday night with music and intercession, special community-wide prayer events and Strike Teams sent out on assignment monthly. We have miracle services monthly and special events with strategic speakers who leave deposits in our community and our region.

What are your services like?

We gather for intercessory pre-service prayer at 12:30. Our Sunday church service starts at 1:30 and begins with prayer, praise and worship followed by a prophetically-inspired message that inspires us and equips us for victorious living.

How long are your services?

Typically two hours from start to finish, but we allow the Holy Spirit to do what He wants. When the glory of God falls we will not quench the Spirit but it’s understood that people are dismissed as they need to go.

What is your style of worship?

Our worship has a prophetic edge to it. We often sing songs that you’ve heard many times from the Bethel, IHOP or Hillsong flow, as well as original songs our worship leaders have written.

 What is typical attire?

Come as you are. Most of us are dressed down but some of our members dress up.

Is your community culturally diverse?

Yes, we have many cultures and ethnicities represented in our community.

What kind of church are you?

We are a Bible-believing apostolic-prophetic church that is Christ-centered and Holy Spirit-focused. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and spiritual warfare.
