Awakening House of Prayer Birmingham’s vision is to see Birmingham and the surrounding regions built upon the true foundation of the apostles and prophets, to prepare the atmosphere through prayer, intercession and worship for a pure and holy move of God. Joy says, “I truly believe that Alabama is to be a forerunner of the outpouring of God’s glory in such a way that people are swept into the kingdom of God. It is time for our voices to be gathered together as one, for us to proclaim the decrees of heaven and see the harvest come in.”

Ephesians 2:19-22 – “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
